Aqua Chi And Tai Chi: Two Different Chi'S

Aqua Chi and Tai Chi are two dissimilar things commonly mistaken to be connected with each other because of the same "chi's" shared by the two names. Tai Chi and Aqua Chi are very, very dissimilar from each other.

Tai Chi is a traditional Chinese martial art geared not for self defense, but rather for the promotion of longevity and wonderful health. Aqua Chi is a marketed name for Aqua Therapy and Aqua Therapy Products. Both have the "chi's", but are both from dissimilar worlds, miles apart from each other.

Tai chi chuan has been around since 1820, and is considered a soft style martial art. Famous for the impressive "slow motion" routines, and fluid graceful movements, Tai chi is known to bring about a sense of balance into practitioners, giving them a calm sense of solace and peace, going about the routines.

Aqua Chi is in no technique connected to any of the basics in Tai Chi, as it's a marketed name for Aqua Detox Therapy. It is based on the research of a medical scientist, Dr. Royal Rife. The whole premise of Aqua Chi therapy is that positive and negative ion frequencies are introduced into one's body, via one's feet. The energy would rebalance the cells in one's body, allowing the poisons which has built up over the years to be exited.

The actual application Aqua Detox Therapy is: a person's feet is soaked in a salt bath solution, as a low voltage electric current is coursed via one's feet. After thirty minutes, or so, the water's color would change. The color alteration stands as an indicator as to what part of one's body had just been detoxified, or what material or substance had just been taken out.

One thing worth noting about Aqua Detox Therapy, together with Aqua Chi therapy, is that there have been no scientific or clinical proof regarding its efficacy. No safety and health organizations, or other institutions of the more or less same nature, have anything to say regarding the therapeutic effects of Aqua Detox Therapy as well. It is among the a lot entries into the roster of questionable medical devices, as a result.

Tai Chi though, has a dissimilar reputation. As a form of relaxation, it's quite often recommended, even as a form of meditation, giving practitioners a more "focused center".

Again, both Tai Chi and Aqua Chi are similar in name, not in sense and application, as well as with reputation.
